Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries, has entered India’s ice cream market with the launch of Bombay Creamery, an affordable premium ice cream brand.The new brand offers a range of cones, cups, tubs, bars and sticks, with prices starting at ₹10. Bombay Creamery will initially be launched across Western India before expanding to other parts of the country through Reliance’s extensive retail and distribution network.
The brand is made with real dairy cream and follows Reliance’s positioning of “Global Quality at Affordable Price.”
According to RCPL Director T. Krishnakumar, Bombay Creamery has been developed with a focus on using authentic dairy ingredients and delivering the taste of real ice cream at an affordable price.
With the launch, Reliance will compete with established ice cream brands including Amul, Kwality Wall’s, Mother Dairy, Vadilal, Arun and Havmor. The move further strengthen.
