The ceremony felicitated 270 students for their outstanding achievements, recognising their dedication, perseverance and commitment to excellence. The occasion was graced by Mr. Sharad Singhal, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch, Ahmedabad, and Dr. Sunil Iyer, Vice President & Head, Biopharmaceutics and Clinical Development, Zydus Lifesciences Ltd., Ahmedabad. Both distinguished professionals exemplify leadership, expertise and commitment. The Principal, Ms. Sabina Sawhney, dignitaries and proud parents were present to recognise the students’ achievements.
The event commenced with the ceremonious cultural harmony of flowers being offered by the dignitaries to honour the spirit of unity and togetherness. This was followed by a heartfelt welcome address delivered by the Principal, Ms. Sabina Sawhney. Addressing the students, she emphasised the importance of resilience, gratitude and the unwavering support of family. She encouraged them to embrace rejection and setbacks with courage, reminding them that failure and success are integral parts of life and that every setback offers an opportunity to learn and grow.
Adding grace and emotion to the occasion, an electrifying Kathak performance by the students portrayed the journey of breaking free from limitations, overcoming pain and embracing new beginnings with hope, freedom and faith. Through expressive movements and graceful storytelling, the performance beautifully captured the spirit of resilience.
The award distribution ceremony marked the highlight of the celebration, as the achievers were felicitated for their dedication and accomplishments.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Sharad Singhal appreciated the efforts of the school and teachers in creating a valuable platform for students and highlighted the significant role of mentors in shaping their journeys. Drawing from his own experiences, he encouraged students to set short- and long-term goals, value knowledge and embrace hard work as essential steps towards success.
In his insightful address, Dr. Sunil Iyer emphasised that character is the foundation of respect and highlighted the importance of mentorship and sound decision-making in shaping one’s future. He encouraged students to think creatively, transform their dreams into action and pursue them with determination and perseverance.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the Head Girl, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, school leadership, teachers, parents and students. The event came to a close on a note of optimism and pride, leaving the young achievers with bright smiles, renewed confidence and the determination to scale greater heights.
