The August edition of Mann Ni Mojnish, the monthly music series conceived by popular music duo Shyamal-Saumil Munshi, celebrated the rich contribution of Gujarati composers.Titled ‘August Mas, Swarkaar Chhe Khas’, the programme explored the distinctive musical styles and compositions of renowned Gujarati composers Ajit Merchant, Purushottam Upadhyay, Harishchandra Joshi and Aniket Khandekar.
The compositions were performed by Shivangi Desai, Pratha Khandekar, Aditya Nayak, Tirth Dalal, Aarti Munshi and Shyamal-Saumil, offering the audience an evening dedicated to Gujarati music and its diverse traditions.
Jointly organised by Pradan Charitable Trust–Kaladham and Gujarati Sahitya Parishad, the programme attracted a packed audience of Gujarati music enthusiasts. Prudent Corporate Advisory Services supported the initiative.
