The National Service Scheme (NSS) of the School of Technology, Nirma University (STNU), organised the third edition of Vimukti, an inter-institute drama and declamation competition based on the theme ‘Beyond Political Criticism’.
Students from across the university participated in the event and used theatre and public speaking to highlight important social and political issues, including misinformation, corruption and the need for greater public awareness and critical thinking.
The performances also explored the contributions and vision of political leaders from the past. Through their presentations, students encouraged the audience to think about the influence of politics on everyday life and the importance of questioning and engaging with public issues.
