Visamo Kids Foundation successfully celebrated its 23rd Scholarship Day at J.B. Auditorium, AMA, Ahmedabad, bringing together more than 250 parents, donors, volunteers, educators, alumni, mentors, and well-wishers to celebrate the academic excellence and inspiring journeys of children from underprivileged backgrounds.
The event was graced by Mr. Rohit Chaudhary, District Education Officer (DEO), Ahmedabad, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he appreciated the Foundation’s commitment to providing quality education and holistic development to children from vulnerable communities. He encouraged the students to remain dedicated to their goals, embrace lifelong learning, and use education as a means to create meaningful change in society.
The Guests of Honour, Dr. Urmila Makwana, an alumna of Visamo Kids Foundation, she shared her own journey from being a Visamo child to becoming a doctor, encouraging every child to believe in their dreams.
A total of 43 students were felicitated for their outstanding academic performance and consistent dedication during the academic year. The Foundation also honoured one parent for exemplary commitment and active participation in supporting.
One of the most emotional moments of the event was the farewell to the outgoing students who completed their journey at Visamo Kids Foundation and are now pursuing higher education and professional careers. They shared heartfelt memories and expressed gratitude for the love, guidance, and opportunities they received during their years at the Foundation.
A distinctive feature of the celebration was that the entire programme was planned, coordinated, and managed by the senior children of Visamo Kids Foundation, demonstrating their leadership, teamwork, confidence, and organizational skills.
The event featured scholarship presentations, inspiring success stories, and moments of gratitude that reflected the Foundation’s commitment to nurturing responsible, confident, and compassionate future citizens.The programme concluded with a vote of thanks followed by lunch, leaving everyone inspired by the determination and achievements of the children.
With the theme “Celebrating Potential. Empowering Futures.” and the message “Honoring Dreams.Investing in Tomorrow.”, the 23rd Scholarship Day reaffirmed Visamo Kids Foundation’s belief that every child deserves the opportunity to dream, learn, and succeed.
