The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) on Friday announced the results of the June 2026 supplementary examinations for Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC).
HSC Science pass percentage at 27.36%
A total of 18,549 students who could not clear the February–March 2026 HSC Science exams had registered for the supplementary examination. Of them, 16,120 appeared and 4,411 passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 27.36%.
Students in Group A performed better than those in Group B. Group A recorded a pass percentage of 32.29%, while Group B recorded 25.85%.
Girls outperformed boys in both groups. In Group A, girls recorded a pass percentage of 35.46% compared to 31.39% for boys. In Group B, girls achieved 28.50%, while boys recorded 22.42%.
Class 12 General Stream records 60.86% pass rate
The overall pass percentage in the Class 12 General Stream supplementary examination was 60.86%.
Out of 40,233 registered students, 33,944 appeared for the exam and 20,658 passed.
Class 10 pass percentage at 33.05%
For the Class 10 supplementary examination, 93,321 students appeared and 30,845 cleared the exam, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 33.05%.
The supplementary examinations give students who could not pass one or more subjects in the main board exams another chance to qualify without losing an academic year.
