Western Railway has announced a special train between Valsad and Velankanni to meet the increased passenger demand during the travel season.
Train No. 09030 Valsad–Velankanni Special will leave Valsad at 6:25 pm on July 3 and reach Velankanni at 10:00 am on July 5.
On the return journey, Train No. 09029 Velankanni–Dahanu Road Special will depart from Velankanni at 12:30 am on July 6 and arrive at Dahanu Road at 10:30 am on July 7.
The train will stop at Dahanu Road, Palghar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Yadgir, Krishna, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Gooty, Tadipatri, Yerraguntla, Cuddapah, Razampeta, Renigunta, Katpadi, Vellore, Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Tirupadiripuliyur, Chidambaram, Mayiladuthurai, Thirunallaru, Karaikal, Nagore and Nagapattinam.
According to Western Railway, the special train will have General Second Class coaches and will run on special fares.
Booking for Train No. 09030 started on June 30 at all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters and through the IRCTC website. Passengers can also check the train schedule, halts and other details on the Indian Railways enquiry portal.
