Delhi Public School-Bopal celebrated National Reading Day on 19 June 2026 with great enthusiasm, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing a vibrant reading culture among students and staff.
sssEngaging Book Discussion Sessions provided a platform for young readers to share their thoughts, exchange recommendations, and explore the works of new authors.
One of the highlights of the day was Reading in Nature, where students enjoyed books amidst the tranquil surroundings of the school campus, experiencing the joy of reading in a refreshing outdoor setting.

Primary school students participated wholeheartedly in a range of creative activities. During the Buddy Reading Session, they paired up to read and share stories together. The World of Words activity helped them enrich their vocabulary as they discovered and displayed new words on colourful sticky notes. Through the Book of My Heart activity, students shared their favourite book titles and added them to the Reading Tree, celebrating their love for books and storytelling.
Adding to the spirit of the occasion, the school’s supporting staff also dedicated time to reading and actively participated in the celebrations, reinforcing the belief that learning is a lifelong journey and that reading remains one of its most powerful tools.
The day concluded on a meaningful note, inspiring the entire DPS-Bopal community to embrace the joy of reading, expand their horizons, and continue building futures—one page at a time.
