In a major boost to regional air connectivity, Alliance Air will launch new flight services connecting Porbandar with Mumbai and Ahmedabad from June 25. The flights will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays.
According to the schedule, Alliance Air’s ATR-72 aircraft will depart from Mumbai at 7:05 am and arrive in Porbandar at 8:40 am. The return flight will leave Porbandar at 1:35 pm and reach Mumbai at 3:10 pm. The direct journey will take approximately 1 hour and 35 minutes.
The airline will also operate flights between Porbandar and Ahmedabad. The flight from Porbandar will depart at 9:05 am and land in Ahmedabad at 10:55 am, while the return service will leave Ahmedabad at 11:20 am and arrive in Porbandar at 1:10 pm. The travel time on this route will be around 1 hour and 50 minutes.
The new services are expected to improve connectivity for passengers travelling to Mumbai and Ahmedabad while also supporting trade, business and tourism in the region.
The announcement was made by the office of Porbandar MLA and Gujarat Cabinet Minister Arjun Modhwadia. Flight bookings have already opened on Alliance Air’s official website.
