Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has released the results for the Class 12 (HSC) examinations across General and Science streams, along with GUJCET scores. Students can check their results on the official website gseb.org by entering their seat numbers.
This year’s statistics are impressive. The General stream boasts a pass percentage of 92.71%, while the Science stream follows with 84.33%. In total, 4,35,102 regular candidates took part in the exams held from February 26 to March 18, 2026.
General Stream Highlights
The performance of female students stood out yet again. Girls achieved a pass rate of 95.41%, compared to boys at 90.10%. Ahwa Dang district topped the state with an impressive success rate of 97.88%, while Ahmedabad City reported the lowest at 87.10%.
A significant milestone was reached as 2,030 schools celebrated a perfect score of 100% pass rates this year. Among those were centers such as Tadav and Kotda where every student passed.
Science Stream Insights
The Science stream had about 1,11,090 candidates across 156 examination centers. Group A excelled with a remarkable pass rate of 90.79%, whereas Group B saw a lower figure at 79.87%. Kumbhariya center achieved the highest results at 98.62%, whereas Limdi (Dahod) registered only (42.98%).
This year also marked improvements in security during examinations; all public exams were conducted under full CCTV coverage according to Board Chairman Mukesh Pandya’s statements.
No Worries for Non-Qualifiers
If students didn’t qualify this time around, supplementary exams will be available soon under the “Best of Two” policy that allows them to improve scores using their best result.
