Due to redevelopment work at Surat Railway Station, Western Railway has made temporary changes to train operations. A major construction activity is underway on Platforms 2, 3 and 4, prompting adjustments for passenger safety and smooth train movement.
From April 29 to May 15, several trains will start or end their journey at Udhna Station instead of Surat. Passengers are advised to check schedules in advance and plan their travel accordingly.
The Bandra Terminus–Surat Superfast Express (12935) will terminate at Udhna during this period and will not go up to Surat. The Surat–Amravati Superfast Express (20925) will begin its journey from Udhna instead of Surat from April 30 to May 15, while the Amravati–Surat Superfast Express (20926) will also end at Udhna between May 1 and May 15.
Railways have deployed extra staff and RPF personnel at Udhna to manage the expected increase in passenger traffic.
Special Trains Extended
To handle the extra rush, Western Railway has extended two weekly special train services. The Mumbai Central–Kathgodam Special (09075) will run additional trips from May 6 to May 13, with the return service (09076) operating from May 7 to May 14.
Similarly, the Ahmedabad–Patna Special (09447) will run from May 6 to May 13, and the return train (09448) will operate from May 8 to May 15.
