Surat will host the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Exhibition (VGRE) from May 1 to 5, 2026, alongside the third edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC), which is scheduled for May 1 and 2 at AURO University, focusing on South Gujarat.
The exhibition will be held at the same venue, spread across 12,000 square metres, and will remain open daily from 10 am to 6 pm, according to an official release.The VGRE will feature a range of programmes, including Reverse Buyer-Seller Meets, Udyami Mela, and vendor development initiatives.
Dedicated stalls will showcase Tribal Haat products, women artisans, award-winning craftsmen, and startups. The event will also support MSMEs, handicrafts, and cottage industries by helping them connect with wider markets. Visitors can register online at the official Vibrant Gujarat website.
As per the release, the VGRC will focus on key sectors driving growth in the region, such as textiles, gems and jewellery, agro and food processing, chemicals and petrochemicals, and tourism, with participation from leading companies and institutions.
Previous editions in Rajkot and Mehsana saw strong participation. VGRE Kutch and Saurashtra featured over 450 exhibitors, including around 160 MSMEs, nearly 60 startups and innovators, 62 artisans linked to handicrafts and handlooms, and 70 stalls by government departments.
Meanwhile, VGRE North Gujarat recorded over 410 exhibitors across 18,000 square metres, with six thematic pavilions and footfall exceeding 80,000 visitors.
