Four members of a Vadodara-based family were killed in a tragic accident on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway near Kalol in Gujarat’s Panchmahal district. Their speeding car went out of control and crossed the divider, landing on the opposite side of the highway.
According to initial reports, the driver lost control at high speed, causing the car to crash through the divider. Four out of five occupants died on the spot, while one person survived.Vadodara family among victims All the victims were residents of Vadodara. The Khimji family was returning from Rajasthan when the accident occurred.
The deceased have been identified as Sajid Iqbal Khimji (55), Iliyas Iqbal Khimji (50), Ishaq Iqbal Khimji (48), and Rehan Ajgar Khimji (35).The death of four members of one family has left relatives and locals in deep shock and grief.
Rescue and probe underwayPolice and local residents rushed to the spot and began rescue operations. The victims were taken out of the damaged vehicle, and the bodies were sent to Kalol Referral Hospital for post-mortem.Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
