Ahmedabad police have announced traffic diversions in Raipur to aid the smooth transportation of election personnel and electronic voting machines (EVMs) ahead of the AMC elections. These measures will take effect during specific hours on April 25, with additional restrictions in place from April 26-27 for post-poll logistics.
The election center, located at Gujarat Shramyogi Kalyan Bhavan near Shamji Krishna Varma Sports Complex, will serve Dariapur Ward 21, Khadia Ward 18, and Jamalpur Ward 19. To minimize congestion around this facility, authorities are closing off general traffic between Raipur Crossroads and Kagadapith junction.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes. Depending on your direction of travel, you can navigate via Parsi Agiyari junction, Vanijya Bhavan Crossroads, Safal-III Circle, Kankaria Gate No. 3, Astodia, or Lal Darwaza.
This initiative aims to ensure uninterrupted election logistics during a critical period for the city.
