He dedicated around eight to nine hours daily to his studies.
This year’s performance slightly surpasses last year, when 24 candidates had scored a perfect 100 percentile. While over 13 lakh candidates appeared in the January session, more than 10 lakh took the April session, with over eight lakh students appearing in both.Apart from Nimay, the list of top scorers includes five candidates each from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, four from Rajasthan, three from Delhi, and two each from Maharashtra and Haryana.
One candidate each from Chandigarh, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha also achieved the perfect score.Officials clarified that the NTA score represents a normalised percentile and should not be confused with the actual percentage of marks obtained.
