Junagadh Opens Narsinh Mehta Lake for Pre-Wedding Shoots and Cultural Events

Junagadh is set to become a hotspot for pre-wedding photography and cultural activities as the Junagadh Municipal Corporation has opened the scenic Narsinh Mehta Sarovar for these purposes. This decision, taken during a recent standing committee meeting, aims to boost tourism and create local job opportunities.

Residents, especially couples preparing for their weddings, can now enjoy a beautiful venue right in their city. No more traveling to distant locations for those perfect photos! The civic body has established an affordable fee of ₹5,000 for a three-hour pre-wedding shoot slot.

But that’s not all. The newly developed amphitheatre at the lakefront is also welcoming local artists and cultural events. For just ₹4,000 per three-hour session, performers can take the stage and showcase their talent in an environment designed to support local art.

Officials believe this initiative will open doors for photographers, videographers, and artists in Junagadh while enhancing the city’s reputation as an emerging cultural hub. “This will change how we celebrate our culture and love stories,” a city official noted.
