Sri Lanka’s private airline FitsAir will launch direct flights between Ahmedabad and Colombo starting May 15, boosting international travel options for passengers from Gujarat.
The new service, introduced in partnership with Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Walkers Tours, and City of Dreams Sri Lanka, will operate three times a week to meet the growing demand for overseas leisure travel.
Gujarat is emerging as a key market for Sri Lanka tourism, thanks to strong cultural ties and increasing interest in international travel. The direct connection is expected to make Sri Lanka a more attractive short-haul destination for travellers from the region.
Along with the flights, special travel packages starting from ₹55,555 have been introduced. These include return airfare, a two-night stay with breakfast at Cinnamon Life, and private airport transfers, offering a convenient and value-for-money experience.
