Ahmedabad is gearing up for a significant recreational addition as the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has announced plans to develop an entertainment zone at Gota Garden. This ambitious project will be executed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP), with Super Star Amusement being selected as the lead developer.
The new attraction will span over 5,391 square meters and promises approximately 40 rides catering to visitors of all ages. Thrill-seekers can look forward to adrenaline-pumping experiences like the Roller Coaster (Imperator), Pirate Ship, and Break Dance. For families with younger kids, there’s a dedicated area featuring 21 delightful children’s rides, including a Baby Coaster and Trampoline.
But that’s not all. The park aims to go beyond traditional amusement rides. Expect unique attractions such as live models of dinosaurs and elephants, points for stargazing with telescopes, and plenty of designated selfie spots throughout the venue.
The entire development is expected to wrap up within a year. Once operational, Super Star Amusement will oversee the park for an initial term of ten years, potentially extendable by five more years if approved.
Financially speaking, AMC will receive ₹300 per square meter annually while also benefiting from 25% of monthly revenues generated by the amusement park. All development costs are assigned to Super Star Amusement, which includes essential infrastructure improvements.
Safety is a top priority; thus, the park will have modern safety features like firefighting systems and on-site medical facilities. An online ticketing system promises transparency and real-time data access for regulatory authorities. Before welcoming guests, comprehensive safety audits must also be conducted.
This project is set to significantly enhance Ahmedabad’s recreational landscape while providing safe entertainment options for residents.
