IndiGo is set to enhance air travel between Maharashtra and Gujarat with new direct flights starting March 29, 2026. The airline will connect Navi Mumbai International Airport directly to Ahmedabad and Rajkot, utilizing its ATR aircraft for these routes.
So, what’s the schedule? The daily service to Ahmedabad will see flight 6E 7018 leaving Ahmedabad at 7:10 PM, arriving in Navi Mumbai at 8:40 PM. The return leg, flight 6E 7017, departs at 9:10 PM, landing back in Ahmedabad by 10:35 PM.
This route aims to cater primarily to business travelers and frequent flyers. It’s all about making that commute smoother between Gujarat’s financial hub and Mumbai’s growing aviation landscape.
Rajkot isn’t left out either. A daily morning service will operate as flight 6E 7045, departing Navi Mumbai at 7:00 AM, reaching Rajkot by 8:15 AM. On the way back, flight 6E 7046 will take off from Rajkot at 8:45 AM, returning to Navi Mumbai by 9:45 AM.
This addition bolsters connectivity for Rajkot’s burgeoning industrial sector, helping local businesses access the resources of Mumbai more efficiently.
The airline isn’t stopping there. Alongside these new services, IndiGo plans to launch additional flights connecting Navi Mumbai with Diu, Goa, Belgaum, and Kolhapur on the same day. It’s part of a broader strategy aimed at improving regional aviation while boosting local tourism and economies.
