An IndiGo flight from Kuwait to Delhi made an emergency landing at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad on Friday morning following a bomb threat, airport officials said. The aircraft landed safely around 6.40 am with 180 passengers on board.
The flight was diverted as a precaution after a passenger found a handwritten note claiming a bomb was present on the aircraft. The pilot immediately alerted air traffic control, leading to the diversion. All passengers were safely evacuated, and security agencies conducted a thorough search of the plane. No suspicious object has been found so far, and the flight is expected to depart after final clearance.
