The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) will host a session Titled ‘Thinking Big, Building Bold- a conversation with Kanwal Rekhi’, a renowned entrepreneur and technology leader on January 26, 2026, offering students a unique opportunity to engage directly with a pioneering figure from India’s global technology ecosystem.
The session will focus on Mr Rekhi’s life journey, professional experiences, and the lessons he has learned while building and leading technology ventures over several decades. The interaction is designed to encourage open dialogue with students, allowing them to gain insights into leadership, decision-making, resilience, ethical entrepreneurship, and navigating uncertainty in professional life.
The conversation will also explore how Mr Rekhi has navigated real-world challenges over the years, offering students practical perspectives shaped by long-term engagement with the technology industry.
The event will be conducted in a fireside chat format, featuring a 45-minute moderated conversation, followed by a 15-minute interactive Q&A session, enabling students to ask questions and engage directly with the speaker. The session will take place from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jagdish Patel Learning Theatre (AB10/201) at IIT Gandhinagar campus.
