Ahmedabad University engineering graduate Prashansa, who had turned down admission to a top B-school last year, finally achieved her dream of excelling in CAT. On her second attempt, she scored an impressive 99.98 percentile, becoming one of only 26 students nationwide to do so. Balancing a full-time job and rigorous preparation, she dedicated 6–8 hours daily to studies. With her CAT score in hand, Prashansa is now preparing for the next admission round at IIM Ahmedabad.
Stavan Pota – Metaphysical Effort
Diagnosed with muscular dystrophy, Stavan never let his physical limitations define him. The 2025 BCom graduate committed 7–8 hours daily to CAT preparation, focusing on practical learning and extensive mock tests to sharpen his skills.
Kawleen Chhabda – Big Girls Fly High
While pursuing her BBA at PDEU during COVID, Kawleen landed a role in the Amazon Prime series Big Girls Don’t Cry and was also an accomplished dancer. However, she opted for an MBA for financial security. After an unsatisfactory first CAT attempt, she balanced a city marketing job, classes, and study hours, dedicating up to 8–9 hours daily to preparation, including a two-month sabbatical for focused study.
Devarsh Shah – Surmounting Adversity
Devarsh, a pharmacy graduate from Nirma University, overcame financial challenges to pursue an MBA. He took up a counselling job at his coaching centre, allowing him to study late into the night and take extensive mock tests. Applying under the EWS category, he hopes to secure admission to top IIMs.
