To streamline passport services and speed up the clearance of pending cases, the Regional Passport Office (RPO), Ahmedabad, at University Road, Gulbai Tekra, has announced new public facilitation arrangements effective from January 1, 2026.
As per the new system, the RPO will provide 100 online appointments on all working days for applicants seeking inquiries related to pending passport applications or for submission of required documents. Applicants will be able to book appointments in advance according to their preferred date and time.
Additionally, applicants may visit the RPO without prior appointment on Mondays and Wednesdays (excluding holidays) between 10 am and 1 pm for inquiries or document submission.
Applicants can also check the status of their passport applications through alternative modes such as telephone (079-26300603), email ([email protected]
), and the official X (formerly Twitter) handle @rpoahmedabad.
