The Rasna Group, along with the Rasna Foundation and the Areez Khambhat Benevolent Trust, began a two-day celebration in Ahmedabad by honouring prominent Parsis from across India.
The event opened with tributes to respected religious leaders, including Vada Dasturji Khurshed Dastur, Vada Dasturji Tehemton Mirza, and Vada Dasturji Cyrus Dastur. The audience also included industrialists, philanthropists, legal experts and doctors. The evening featured a cultural performance by comedian Cyrus Broacha and the play AI – Artificial Irani.
On the second day, 10 distinguished personalities received the Parsi Ratna Awards for their contributions to society. Awardees included Nadir Godrej, Dinshaw Tamboli, Brig (Retd) Jahangir Anklesaria, Firoz Khambhata, Anahita Desai, Percy Master, Dinshaw Mehta, Mehar Medora, Katie Daruwala and Shirin Kanga.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel attended the opening ceremony, which highlighted the rich heritage, traditions and service spirit of the Parsi community.
