The Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Courses (ACPPGMEC) has released the Round 1 seat allotment results for Gujarat NEET PG 2025, confirming that 2,119 candidates have secured seats in the first round.
The committee has issued guidelines for candidates to complete their admission formalities within the given deadline.
Among top performers, Anjali Kumari (AIR 25, State Rank 3) chose MD Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy at BJ Medical College (BJMC), Ahmedabad. Most candidates in the top 10 opted for MD Radio Diagnosis and MD General Medicine, reflecting the continued preference for clinical specializations.
BJMC Ahmedabad—ranked 45th in NIRF 2025—has emerged as the top choice for high-ranking candidates this year.
Vacant seats and next steps
A total of 254 seats remain vacant after Round 1, mainly due to non-conversion of seats. These will be offered in the upcoming counselling rounds.
ACPPGMEC will soon release the schedule and details for Round 2. Candidates are advised to keep checking official notifications for updates.
