On 28 November, Shri SankatmochanMahavir Hanuman Neem Karoli Baba Temple, Rancharda, Ahmedabad will host a full‑day celebration to mark the 125th Prakatotsav (appearance day) of Baba Neem KaroliMaharaj. The temple established by the boundless grace of Baba Neem KaroliMaharaj, has planned a series of religious and social programmes throughout the day.
In the morning, around 300 school students will collectively recite the Hanuman Chalisa followed by the distribution of gifts and chocolates to younger children. Throughout the day the “Ram Roti SevaRath” will serve meals to people in need. At 7:00 pm the temple will organize a blanket distribution programme for poor and underprivileged beneficiaries.In the evening at 7:00 pm there will also be 21 times Hanuman Chalisa recitation, kirtan and finally, “Baba KaBhandara,” in which all devotees will be lovingly served prasad in the form of a meal. According to temple founder Dr. Praveen Garg, the entire programme is open to all devotees and everyone is warmly invited to attend and receive divine blessings on this sacred occasion.
Dr.Praveenbhai Garg further stated that this event is not only a religious celebration but also a medium to spread the message of service. This temple is the fourth in India where a reclining (resting) idol of Hanumanji has been installed and devotees can deeply experience the infinite grace of Baba Neem KaroliMaharaj here.
Special Features of the Temple
– The temple completed 15 months on 23 November 2025.
– In these 15 months, Sundarkand has been recited 65 times.
– Festivals such as Hanuman Jayanti, Guru Purnima, Navratri, RakshaBandhan, Ganesh Sthapana and Visarjan, Kali ChaudasHavan and Dussehra (with Fafda–Jalebi distribution) are celebrated with devotional bhajans and worship.
– With Baba’s grace two “Ram Roti SevaRath” vehicles operate from the temple preparing meals for about 200–300 people every morning and evening and distributing prasad at different locations.
– Elderly persons, differently‑abled children and visually impaired children are specially invited who collectively participate in Sundarkand and Hanuman Chalisa recitation.
– Special bhogprasad and honour are arranged for senior citizens.
– On special days, Akhand Hanuman Chalisa and Ramcharitmanas recitations are conducted.
– A havan is organized on the first Tuesday of every month, open to all devotees.
– Every Sunday, Sundarkand, kirtan and aarti take place, which are open to everyone.
In addition, every Wednesday and Sunday the temple conducts free health check‑ups and distributes medicines. Accommodation facilities are provided for sadhus and saints and a cold‑water stall serves travellers and passers‑by.
