A child was injured after being attacked by a pet dog in the Sharanam Elegance residential society in New Maninagar, Ahmedabad, on Wednesday. The Ramol police have registered a case against the dog’s owner for negligence.
CCTV footage from the society shows the child playing near the building when the dog, being walked by its owner, suddenly lunged and bit him. The injured child was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police said the complaint was filed by the child’s family, and an investigation is underway based on the CCTV evidence and medical report. The incident has sparked concern among residents over pet safety and owner responsibility.
