A fire broke out on Sunday afternoon at Vrundavan Children’s Hospital near Kochrab Ashram, Paldi Crossroads, reportedly due to a short circuit in an air-conditioner around 3:30 pm.Thick smoke quickly spread through the building, but the hospital staff acted swiftly, evacuating 13 people, including eight children receiving treatment, before the fire brigade arrived. The children were later shifted to another hospital.While the fire damaged furniture and medical equipment, timely action ensured no injuries or casualties were reported.
