As Prime Minister Narendra Modi turns 75 on Wednesday, the state government has lined up large-scale service projects under Seva Pakhwada (Fortnight of Service), beginning today and running till October 2.
A mega blood donation camp will be organised at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, alongside more than 600 similar drives across the state. In total, around 1.42 lakh health and blood donation camps are being planned by government departments, NGOs, and social groups.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, in the presence of Governor Acharya Devvrat and Health Minister Rushikesh Patel, will launch the Healthy Women, Strong Families campaign, focusing on women’s health through special camps at municipal hospitals and health centres.
The blood donation camp at Narendra Modi Stadium will be inaugurated by the Governor, CM, Health Minister, and Sports Minister Harsh Sanghavi, with actor Vivek Oberoi as the special guest.

Namo Amrut Free Mega Health Camp from 9 am at multiple locations in Maninagar, to be inaugurated by CM Patel.
An exhibition on PM Modi’s life at Thaltej Community Hall at 2 pm.
Namotsav, a multimedia musical show featuring 150 artists, at Sonoria Block, Saraspur, 6 pm.
Felicitation of Swachhata Doots at Surat Indoor Stadium at 6.30 pm, followed by a live performance by singer Kailash Kher.
A seminar on healthy eating for restaurants and caterers at Ahmedabad Management Association in the evening.
Postcard writing and drawing competitions in municipal schools, where Classes 4 to 9 students will send greetings to PM Modi and create artworks on the theme Developed India 2047.
