Ahmedabad’s Adani International School, Shantigram, hosted the ISSO National Games Chess Competition 2025, bringing together over 370 students from 80+ schools across more than 10 states. With over 650 attendees, the two-day event became a vibrant showcase of strategy, intellect, and sportsmanship.
Players competed across four categories — U11, U14, U17, and U19 — displaying composure and sharp skills. The opening ceremony was graced by Namrata Adani, along with chess personalities Bhavesh Patel and Grandmaster Ankit Rajpara, who inspired students with their insights.
Chatrabhuj Narsee School, Mumbai, was declared overall champion, while Indus International School, Hyderabad, secured the runners-up position.
The event highlighted Adani International School’s focus on holistic education, blending academics with sports to nurture resilience, critical thinking, and excellence.
