Retaining the top spot, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has been ranked as the best management institute for the sixth consecutive year in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)India Rankings 2025 released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, today.
Speaking on this achievement, Prof. Bharat Bhasker, Director, IIMA, mentioned, “At IIMA, we remain committed to nurturing management leaders and innovators who can address the challenges of a rapidly changing world. It is a matter of great pride for us to be recognised as the best management institute in India for the sixth consecutive year by the Ministry of Education’s NIRF 2025 rankings. Our strong focus on research and innovation continues to shape new ideas and solutions that influence both academia and industry, while reinforcing IIMA’s role as a thought leader in management education.”
The NIRF provides a methodology to assess and rank higher education institutions across the country. It is based on the following broad parameters for evaluation: ‘Teaching, Learning and Resources’, ‘Research and Professional Practices’, ‘Graduation Outcomes’, ‘Outreach and Inclusivity’, and ‘Perception’. Since the launch of the rankings, IIMA has been placed at the top position in 2017, 2018, and then again from 2020 onwards.
