Suhana Khan, daughter of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, is facing legal trouble after allegations of irregularities in her purchase of farmland in Alibaug.
What is the issue?
Suhana reportedly bought land in Thal village, Alibaug, for ₹12.91 crore from three sisters—Anjali, Rekha, and Priya—who had inherited it from their parents. The land had originally been allocated by the government to farmers for agricultural use, raising questions about whether the sale was valid. Suhana is said to have paid ₹77.46 lakh in stamp duty for the deal. Authorities have ordered an inquiry, with the Alibaug Tehsildar asked to submit a report.
How was the land registered?
According to officials, Suhana Khan was identified as a farmer in the registered documents. The land was purchased under Deja Vu Farm Private Limited, a company owned by her grandmother (Gauri Khan’s mother) and sister-in-law. This was their first property in Alibaug, followed by Suhana’s second acquisition—a beachfront villa worth 10 crore.
Suhana Khan’s work front
Suhana made her acting debut in 2023 with The Archies on an OTT platform. She is now preparing for her big-screen debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in King, slated for release in 2026.
