Tension prevailed at Ahmedabad’s Geeta Mandir ST bus stand late Monday night after a man calling himself ‘Bhoora Dada’ barged into the local police chowki, hurled abuses and damaged property. A video of the incident, widely shared on social media, has triggered criticism over the brazenness of the act.Police said the accused was caught on camera kicking the locked door of the chowki and shouting obscenities before fleeing. Based on the viral video, Kagadapith Police registered an FIR under Sections 324(3) and 296(B) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.Officials confirmed the man has been identified and a search is underway. “He created panic by projecting himself as ‘Bhoora Dada’ and abusing publicly. Arrest will be made soon,” a senior officer said.The incident has renewed concerns about the vulnerability of police outposts and the rising trend of miscreants flaunting defiance online.
