Television actress Priya Marathe, best known for her roles in popular Hindi and Marathi shows, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, after a prolonged fight with cancer. She was 38.
According to reports, Priya breathed her last at her residence in Mira Road, Mumbai. The news has come as a shock to the TV fraternity and her fans.
Over her career, Priya worked in several hit shows including Char Divas Sasuche, Kasamh Se, Pavitra Rishta, Uttaran, Tu Tithe Me, Bhaage Re Mann, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, and Swarajyarakshak Sambhaji. She was last seen in the Marathi serial Tuzech Mi Geet Gaat Aahe, which concluded in June 2024.
Priya married actor Shantanu Moghe in 2012. She was not very active on social media in the past year and had last posted on Instagram in August 2024, sharing pictures from a Jaipur trip with her husband.
