Gujarat will once again host the prestigious Filmfare Awards, with the 70th edition set to take place in the state.
An MoU was signed in Gandhinagar between the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited (TCGL) and Worldwide Media Pvt. Ltd in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.At the event, CM Patel unveiled the iconic Filmfare Trophy, popularly known as the “Black Lady.”
He said that hosting the awards will give a boost to Gujarat’s economy, tourism, and employment while also supporting the “Vocal for Local” initiative.The government will also improve infrastructure, transport, and hospitality facilities, ensuring long-term benefits for the state’s tourism sector.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Times Group MD Vineet Jain, filmmaker Karan Johar, actor Vikrant Massey, and senior state officials.
