Gujarat University on Monday extended the deadline for PhD entrance test registration from July 28 to July 30, following a strong response from applicants.
According to in-charge registrar Piyush Patel, around 4,000 students have registered online so far. Of these, 3,099 have completed their applications, and 2,348 have submitted the required fees.
While online registrations will be accepted until July 30, candidates can submit hard copies of supporting documents up to August 1. A provisional list of eligible and ineligible candidates will be published on August 4, with a document correction window open on August 5.
Hall tickets will be available for download from August 7, and the entrance exam is scheduled for August 12.
