The government has reopened the admission process for undergraduate medical, nursing, and paramedical courses for the academic year 2025–26. This decision follows a recent notification allowing students who passed supplementary exams to be considered for admission based on their best score—whether from the main or supplementary exam.
For courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and other AYUSH programmes under the 15% All India Quota, the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Education Courses (ACPUGMEC) has begun online registration from Wednesday. Students can buy the PIN and register online until July 28. Document verification at designated help centres will take place from July 24 to 29.
