Kolkata-based Wow Momo Foods Private Limited launched its large-format Wow China outlet in Ahmedabad, which will offer Jain versions of Chinese cuisine”, which comprises food items cooked without onion, garlic and tubers.
The company already has four outlets in Ahmedabad, of which two Wow Momo and China Belly are located in Palladium mall. “In Jain-Chinese cuisine, cooking food without onion and garlic. we are creating special sauces, which will not have onion and garlic in it. also not using mushrooms, as a lot of people have problems with it. are working around with cheese, capscium, cabbage and carrot. We are creating menus like ‘Peppery Lemon Paneer’. Usually, this dish has a garlic infusion. We have done away with this infusion,” said Muralikrishnan L, a co-founder of Wow Momo Foods,
“For the last 20 days, we studied the market and are now introducing Jain-Chinese cuisine in our menu. We do offer Jain cuisine during the month of Shravan. But this will be the first place where we offer Jain-Chinese cuisine in the menu,” said Muralikrishnan L, a co-founder of Wow Momo Foods, which has opened its Wow China outlet in Palladium mall.
The Jain-Chinese menu will have six starters, four main courses and about three kinds of sauces, rice and noodles.
