Tulsi Tea, the name synonymous with the finest quality tea blends from the best tea gardens, plans to take the Swad of Gujarat to other states and emerge as a national tea brand.
For more than 21 years, Tulsi Tea has established a distinct brand identity for itself because of its consistent quality and taste. Made with the Gujarati palate in mind, Tulsi Tea has become the most preferred tea brand at the regional level.
“We are a boutique and regional offering from Gujarat for Gujarat and Gujaratis at heart and palate orientation. Gujarat is our key market and we are expanding our presence and retail reach in Gujarat. We also have a presence in MP, Rajasthan and certain localities in Mumbai that have a strong Gujarati presence. We have plans to make Tulsi Tea a national tea brand, but we are focusing on existing markets for now. Subsequently, we will take Tulsi tea to more states and even cater to the Gujarati and Indian diaspora in other countries,” said Haresh Kathrotiya, Managing Director, Tulsi Tea.
Tulsi Tea currently has a network of 450+ distributors in Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, who serve 80,000+ retail stores. The company is looking to expand its distributor network in Gujarat and other states by 20% this year to be able to reach more customers.
“Our focus is on making our brand available far and wide with consistency. Our brand reaches places where no other tea brand reaches. We want to build on this core strength by further expanding our reach and availability,” Mr Kathrotiya said.
Just as the name Tulsi evokes emotions or purity, benefit and quality, the name Tulsi Tea evokes the imagery of the finest and highest-quality tea blends. Tulsi Tea has established a brand identity that is distinct from other brands. Tulsi Tea offers nine delicious blends with 56+ SKUs in addition to green tea and lemon green tea, catering to customers having different tea preferences.
