Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi appeals citizens to avoid visiting Dwarka till June 16, Sanghvi reached here as minister in-charge for preparedness against Biporjoy cyclone.
Sanghavi said the administration had started working four-five days ago and over a thousand people were already relocated from the coastal villages. Further evacuation was on, he stated.
Sanghavi also stressed on need to have communication network intact with multiple telephone lines so that the people in need can contact the administration. He said there are various tasks involved when it comes to preparing against the cyclone. the pregnant women from villages likely to be affected are identified and arrangements are done for their care.
