On Wednesday, DJ Toyota in Ahmedabad unveiled the much-awaited premium MPV Innova HyCross.
The Innova HyCross is powered by the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform’s 5th Generation Self-Charging Strong Hybrid Electric System. As part of Toyota’s multi-pathway offering to its diverse customers in India, it provides best-in-class fuel efficiency of 23.24 km per litre, quick acceleration, easy manoeuvrability, and high ride quality.
The Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) is the first for any Toyota model sold in India, and it is included in the Innova HyCross’ safety package. The vehicle’s distinctive design combines the proportions and poise of an SUV with the spaciousness of an MPV.

The Innova Hycross, as a Self-Charging Strong Hybrid Electric Vehicle (SHEV), can travel 40% of the distance and 60% of the time in electric (EV) or zero-emission mode.
The Paddle shift, Powered Ottoman 2nd row seats, Front Ventilated seats, an Air conditioner (Dual zone – front and rear zone), Rear Retractable Sunshade, Electrochromic Inner Rear View Mirror, Power Back Door, and Dual Function Daytime Running Light are among the first-segment features of the Innova HyCross (DRL). It has the longest wheelbase in the segment at 285 cm.
The exterior of the Innova HyCross is tough and muscular. The raised bonnet line, large Hexagonal Gunmetal finish grille, Automatic LED Headlamps, super chrome alloy wheels, and wider bumper add to the sophisticated and rugged appearance.
The interior design expresses seamless luxury and comfort. Keeping in mind the unique needs of Indian customers, the Innova HyCross prioritizes interior comfort features.
