The second term exam dates for the science stream of Class 12 have been rescheduled by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHESB). The most recent decision indicates that the Class 12 science stream second term exams for the Gujarat board will likely begin on February 6. The examinations had previously been planned to take place from January 27 to February 4.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 and the second term exams had conflicting dates, so the Gujarat board changed exam schedule. Students who appearing for JEE Main 2023 exam requested the GSHESB to change the exam dates.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has already begun the JEE Main 2023 registration process. JEE Main 2023 will be conducted in two sessions for the academic year 2023–2024, session 1 taking place in January and session 2 in April. The first session’s registration period began on December 15 and will end on January 12.
Exam for Session 1 will take place from January 24 to January 31. In the third week of January, admit cards will be distributed. While the second session will run from April 6 to 12. JEE Main 2023 has two papers: Paper 1 is for BE/BTech and second one is for BArch (Paper and Planning (Paper 2B). The test will be administered using a computer in two shifts. The morning shift will begin from 9 am to 12 pm and the afternoon shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Meanwhile, candidates from Bihar and Assam appearing for JEE Main 2023 exam have requested that the January session be postponed. They assert that it is getting more challenging for them to study for the JEE Main and the 12th board exams. According to candidates, there is no gap between first round of board exams and JEE-Main 2023.
