Shehnaaz Gill recently received an award, which she dedicated to her rumoured boyfriend, late actor Sidharth Shukla. Shehnaaz was in Dubai on Saturday for the Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night. She thanked the late actor when accepting the Rising Star of Bollywood award “Investing in her”. In a viral clip shared on Twitter, Shehnaaz can be heard saying, “Main apne family, apne friends aur meri team ko bilkul bhi nahi dedicate karungi kyuki yeh meri mehnat hai.” Looking at the award, Shehnaaz added, “Aur tu mera hai aur mera hi rahega, theek hai?
Later, Shehnaaz Gill added, “Ek cheeze aur, Main ek bande ko thank you bolna chahti hun. Thank you mere life mein aane k liye aur mere pe itna invest kiya ki aaj main yahan pe pahuchi hun. Sidharth Shukla, this is for you (award).” Soon after, she thanked Sidharth, and we can hear a loud cheer in the background.
Soon after the video was posted, fans flooded the Twitter comment section. That was such a sweet moment that I kept rewinding to watch it again and again. She thanked him and dedicated her success to him after accomplishing what she had hoped for and what he would have been proud of Sidharth Shukla died in September of last year of a cardiac arrest. They were close when Sidharth and Shehnaaz Gill were in the Bigg Boss 13 house. The actor won the reality show hosted by superstar Salman Khan.
On the other hand, Shehnaaz Gill will make her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan’s next film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, alongside Pooja Hegde and Venuatesh Daggubati.
