According to reports from Gujarat’s capital Gandhinagar, a bus smashed a van carrying schoolchildren here on Friday morning. In this incident, the van overturned due to a direct collision with the bus. This accident also resulted in minor injuries to eight children. On the other hand, a child admitted to the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad is said to be in critical condition.
According to reports, the accident occurred near Gandhinagar’s 6-Circle. A van carrying ten children was passing by on its way to school. Meanwhile, a private bus approaching from the left side of the forest collided head-on with the van. The screams of the children on the spot shook the entire area. Later, passers-by, bus passengers, and locals rescued the children from the private vehicles present and transported them to the hospital.
This accident also resulted in minor injuries to eight children. A child was severely injured in the head and shoulder as a result of this. He is currently being transferred from Gandhinagar to the civil hospital’s trauma centre in Ahmedabad. Following the incident, the police initiated additional legal action by arresting the bus driver.
