Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit to Gujarat on Saturday.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Modi will tour the newly built Matushri K.D.P. Multispeciality Hospital in Atkot, Rajkot On May 28, after which he is slated to address a public function at the venue.
The hospital will make available high end medical equipment and provide world class healthcare facilities to the people of the region, said the PMO.
In the evening, he will address the seminar on ‘Sahakar Se Samriddhi’ at the Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar.
The seminar will be attended by more than 7,000 representatives from various cooperative institutions of the state.
On May 28, Shah would visit the Dwarkadheesh temple at Dwarka in the morning and then meet trainees at the Coastal Police Academy near Dwarka town, he said.
The Union home minister would later attend the Sahakar Sammelan in Gandhinagar, Vaghani added.
The PMO said that the cooperative sector of Gujarat has been a role model for the entire nation. There are more than 84,000 societies in the state in the sector. About 231 lakh members are associated with these societies.
In order to help farmers boost productivity and income, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Nano Urea (Liquid) Plant, which was built at IFFCO, Kalol, at a cost of around Rs 175 crore.
The ultra-modern Nano Fertilizer Plant was built with the goal of increasing crop yield through the use of Nano Urea.
On Sunday, Shah, who is also the union cooperative minister, would attend an event organised by Panchamrut Dairy and address a gathering at Godhra in Panchmahal district.
Later, he will visit Nadiad town in Kheda district to dedicate 57 residential and non-residential buildings built across the state for the police department by the Gujarat State Police Housing Corporation.
Shah will attend a ground-breaking ceremony for a sports complex in Ahmedabad’s Naranpura neighbourhood in the evening, according to Vaghani, who added that Shah will also watch the IPL final match at Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera in the evening.
