Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha is currently promoting her upcoming film ‘Janhit Mein Jaari,’ in which she plays a salesgirl who sells condoms and raises awareness about their use.
On social media, several exciting posters and teasers for the film have been released. While some are excited to see Nushrratt breaking the stereotypes in the film, a few others have badly trolled and slut-shamed the actress for endorsing condoms. Now, Bharuccha has reacted to trolls.
Taking to her Instagram handle, she shared a video of herself where she showed negative comments made on her and on the film. She exposed the trolls by sharing screenshots of their comments in the clip.
In the video, the Dream Girl actress said in Hindi, “log generally Instagram pe apne best comments share karte hai, but mere sath kal se itna kuch alag hop reha hai na ki maine socha kyu na mai apne worst comments hi Janhit Mein Jaari kardu.” Then popped up the window, where she showed fans the negative comments.
Nushrratt concluded the video by saying, “Bas yehi soch toh badalni hai. Koi baat nhi aap ungli uthao mai awaaz uthati hun.”
On a related note, ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’ has been helmed by Jai Basantu Singh and also stars Pavail Gulati, Annu Kapoor, and Anud Dhaka in prominent roles.
In the social comedy, Nushrratt will face social taboos while raising awareness about condom use in a small Madhya Pradesh town. On June 10, 2022, the film will be released in theatres.
