SOP announced for Gujarat banks owing to increasing corona transition

The Banking Association has announced the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as Corona’s transition to state banks accelerates. Bank hours should be between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. If there is no urgent work to be done, employees should be sent home. If any of the bank’s employees become infected, the branch will be closed for 48 hours.

Women employees who are pregnant or have a co-morbid illness should be excused from going to work. Also, consider opening a bank branch in a heavily infected area five days a week. The Mahagujarat Bank Employees Association has issued a directive to the banking union of the country.

The Gujarat government may announce new Corona guidelines soon. The core committee will have a detailed discussion on whether the night curfew will be extended or not. Corona’s guideline expires tomorrow at 6 p.m.
