India’s daily COVID-19 tally crosses 1.9 lakh mark on Wednesday, as the country registered 1,94,720 new cases in the last 24 hours.
With the huge jump in daily COVID cases India’s Active Caseload is presently at 9,55,319.
The Active cases stands at 2.65%, while the current recovery rate of country is at 96.01%.
60,405 recoveries have been recorded in the last 24 hours. The total recoveries of country stand at 3,46,30,536. The daily positivity rate increases to (11.05%), weekly positivity rate (9.82%).
Meanwhile, Omicron tally in the country crosses 4800 mark with tally reaching to 4,868 from 28 states and union territory. A total of 1,805 persons have been recovered from Omicron till date.
With 236 cases Gujarat slipped down to 8th position in the tally list, so far186 persons have been recovered from the dreaded variant.
In all Maharashtra still remains the leading contributor in India’s Omicron tally with 1,281 new infections and 499 recoveries. Rajasthan has taken over Delhi as 645 cases were recorded till date with 402 recoveries, with 546 cases Delhi slipped down to third position meanwhile it has recorded 57 recoveries, Karnataka 479 cases 26 recoveries, Kerala 350 new cases and 140, West Bengal 294 cases and 10 recoveries.
