Ahmedabad: An employee of Jindal Wildlife Limited (Ambawadi) has been accused of criminal breach of trust and cheating in yet another case. The company alleges that an employee stole Rs 15.36 lakh from the company.
As per the complainant (Bhavik Modi), the incident took place between January 2020 and June 8, 2021. The 28-year-old complainant is in charge of recovering dues and pending payments on behalf of the firm.
The accused has been identified as Hardik Pandya is a resident of Ghatlodia. The allegation was made against him that he abused his company’s position and collected from dealers but didn’t deposit in the firm’s bank account. The accused did not inform his superiors about the money that he took from the dealer. When his boss (Anil Sharma) started asking about cash details, he stopped coming to the office.
Later on, Sharma enquired contacted another firm regarding payment, he then found out that Pandya had deposited Rs 9.92 lakh collected from other companies into his account.
According to the Times of India report, a case has been filed against the accused under section 408 (criminal breach of trust) of the Indian Penal Code.
In another case, a firm had paid Rs 5.44 lakh in various installments, Hardik Pandya who worked as a senior executive in the credit control department of the firm again embezzled fund.
