Gujarat Science City is celebrating World Space Week 2026 with a series of activities under the theme ‘Rocket Revolution’ to introduce students to space science and technology through practical learning.
The programme includes a model rocketry workshop covering rocket design and propulsion, a talk on advancements in rocket technology, and a do-it-yourself telescope-making activity.A special Scientist Circle session highlights how space technology plays a role in everyday life, including satellite communication, weather forecasting and navigation.
Around 1,000 to 1,200 students are expected to participate in the celebrations, which aim to spark curiosity about space exploration and encourage interest in science and technology.
